Associate.NET Developer
Location:Orangeburg, NY
$80K + 5k bonus

SUMMARY:

 

· This position reports to the ApplicationsSupervisor and supports the Global organization.

· The Associate.NETSQL Developer will be responsible for building, testing, & deployingcustom .NET applications againstthe MS SQL Server databaseinfrastructure.

· Associate will work w/the Sr. DBA, BI &other Systems Engineer team members to deliver quality programming solutionswhile supporting the database infrastructure & other applicationactivities. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Develop quality software solutions using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server 

· Meet with clients to understand andfacilitate development requests

· Work with other team members to design anddeploy software systems

· Translate business requirements intotechnical and functional requirements 

· Foster relationships with business experts tohelp deliver high-impact programming solutions

· Partner with DBA in planning, designing,developing and enhancing applications

· Support BI and programming needs whileassisting with Data Warehouse activities

· Draft, preserve, and support documentationand standards according to industry Best Practices

· Assist with 3rd party software andapplication initiatives

 

Job Requirements

 

· SDLC experience of analysis, design,development, deployment, maintenance & change control 

· 2-3 years of combined development experiencewith ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, SQL

· 2-3 years development experience with SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012

· Familiarity of MS SQL Tables, Views, Triggers, Stored procedures, SQL, T-SQL

· Microsoft WindowsXP, 7, 8 Operating Systems

· Experience having developed Internet Applications

· Exceptional Analytical and Problem Solvingabilities

· Ability to multitask, be flexible, managemultiple concurrent projects

· Strong written, oral, communication,interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills

· Basic project management

· MS/MS degree or equivalent

· Full-cycle .NET/SQL Server generalist withexposure to front, middle, back-end development

· ASP.NET 2.0/3.5, VB.NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript

· MS Visual Studio 2005/2010/2012

· XML/Web Services

· MS SQL Administration and Performance Tuning(MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008)

· MS Servers, SSIS, IIS, RDP, Visual Studio

· Proficiency of databases, data-structures,RDBMS, and client-server concepts

· MS SQL DB experience with Tables, Views,Triggers, Stored procedures, SQL, T-SQL

· At least 2 years of developing forMicrosoft.NET (C#, VB, & ASP) 

· At least 2 years of developing for MicrosoftSQL Server (Stored Procedures, Views, Functions) 

· Agile Project Management methodology
