The successful candidate will be the manager of our portfolio of cell based assays in our Whitesboro, N.Y. facility. Candidate will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of all cell based assays including neutralizing assays. Work closely with customers to assist in the transfer, development and validation of these types of assays in a GxP-compliant manner.

Overview of the Role

Proven experience with immunological methods.

Experience developing and validating cell based assays for neutralization or potency required.

Provides technical oversight including atypical results investigations, technology transfer studies, and new method evaluations.

Demonstrated ability to supervise subordinates and interact with a diverse team of scientists.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize projects efficiently.

Good organizational skills and experience in the establishment and oversight of contracts.

Facilitates a proactive management approach, with open communication lines.

Assures good documentation and up to date training of the testing laboratory staff. Assure practices are consistent with industry standards, including GLPs and Committee for Harmonization (ICH) for Good Laboratory Practices.

Job Requirements

/ Skills / Experience Required

Ph.D, BS/MS with 8+ years experience.

Requires an understanding of one of more of the following: molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, cell biology and/or immunology.

Good communication and computer skills are required.

Experience with software for data analysis or other statistical analysis software is considered essential.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Consultants will work collaboratively with Catapult Learning and building principals to support teachers in the implementation of the Common Core State Standards.
