Inside Sales Specialist at New York

Aegistech, an IT Staffing firm in Midtown NYC, is growing our inside sales team. We are seeking a motivated self-starter interested in working in a fast-paced and successful environment to help promote and sell IT consulting and staffing services in the New York City Metro Region. This is open to seasoned sales professionals and entry-level college grads.


In this role you will work with the sales team to help research and identify target accounts, handle initial inquiries, qualify prospects, and schedule appointments. Daily tasks will include researching target companies, reaching out to potential clients and creating appointments with prospective and current customers. Must have a good understanding of Aegistechs business offerings and be able to articulate how Aegistech can assist clients in meeting their needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Qualify prospects and generate sales leads via phone and email
  • Follow up on inbound inquiries, send information, set in-person appointments and attend initial meetings with Account Executives
  • Gather pre-appointment information and qualifying questions
  • Generate lists of prospective targets
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects
  • Deliver the companys value proposition, converse fluidly about services and industry trends
  • Profile and prospect into stated target accounts
  • Send out literature, invitations and confirmations to prospects
  • General admin work such as coordinating sales calendars and scheduling meetings
  • Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Social Media
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales meetings quota
  • Experienced candidates must have a successful track record of hard work, a go-getter attitude, and any relevant job experience while possessing a passion for selling.
  • Entry level candidates will be given extensive on-the-job training.


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 4 year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or Management
  • Passion for selling

  • A self-motivated, confident, driven, respectful and dedicated team player

  • Organizes systems in the PDC in regards to clothing shipments and processes that these are followed and being met in a timely manner.

  • Compliance with office duties; phones, supply ordering expense tracking, organizing and cleanliness.

Leadership & Strategy:

  • The inventory & office administrator supervises inventory & replenishment processes and delegates to departments and sorters to ensure the highest standards of efficiency and adherence to process are upheld.
  • The inventory & office Administrator effectively communicates with the Departments and Sorters their plans and works with them to achieve success.
  • Setting a clear and ambitious direction for inventory processing and operations of the PDC.

Operational Excellence:

  • Design and document improved operational policies and processes to meet the inventory replenishment goals across the Warehouse.
  • Ensure staff is aware of Housing Works and Thrift operational policies and processes, and have the capabilities and accountability to work with them effectively.
  • Manage, or coordinate relations with loss prevention, IT, and Human Resources to ensure these functions effectively support the Warehouse business.
  • Policy & Procedure, Organization, OSHA and cleanliness follow up, compliance and training.

Production:

  • Agree apparel, accessories, and shoes production targets with the Warehouse Manager
  • Continually improve operations at the PDC and relations with third party contract producers to meet the merchandising plan at the lowest cost
  • Establish systems to ensure consistent pricing and inventory management within the PDC to meet the Thrifts merchandise/replenishment plan

Compliance:

  • Interest in core values; Open Book Management, Customer Service, and teamwork
  • Active interest in problem solving and solution based decisions
  • Adherence to Housing Works Policy and Procedures; can train and develop, as well as understand
  • Strong interest in Housing Works Mission.

Advocacy:
