Classification: Controller - Assistant

Compensation: $22.16 to $28.00 per hour

Accountemps are hiring for a Assistant Controller to join a growing non profit in lower manhattan for a 3 month role which could potentially go on longer. Duties in this role will be to assist with the overall day to day management of the general ledger, oversee daily bank deposits, monthly back reconciliation for all the accounts, managing the general ledger and also help with the audit. This will be a hands on role where you will be involved with various aspects of Accounting and Finance. The most important skills needed for this role will be experience in preparing financial statements, general ledger and audit prep. Job Requirements

Accountemps are looking for someone who has at least 5 years core experience in Financial statements, audit preparation and also general ledger accounting. Experience of working in non profit is a must have, experience of having used Blackbuad is also advantageous.
