Learning Development InventorGlobal Talent Development and Organizational Effectiveness
General Description:
We are looking for a next practice development inventor to help us change the way our employees experience and apply learning. The person we are seeking for this job needs to have a demonstrated track record in creating the new and different, implementing innovative approaches to talent management/development challenges and looking beyond conventional wisdom to create impactful changes in the learning space. This individual will support the Global Talent Development and Organizational Effectiveness team and report to the Chief Learning Officer. They will be primarily responsible for designing, developing and executing corporate learning programs, experiences and campaigns for employees globally. They will also work in close collaboration with Global Talent Acquisition, Global Talent Management and other HR colleagues globally to co-create and deliver targeted and engaging experiential development programs tied to our business and talent strategy.
Responsibilities:
Business Consultant:
Proactively create next practice learning solutions to better meet the needs of the business
Understand business strategies and identify learning gaps and opportunities
Provide consultative advice and support regarding learning and organizational design needs
Create and tailor learning solutions to close talent development gaps tied to business strategies
Provide insightful learning metrics and analysis to drive decisions about development programs
Routinely seek and share external best practices with business partners and HR colleagues
Learning Expert:
Invent and develop engaging learning experiences and programs by establishing clear learning objectives and using strong instructional design, content acquisition/development, and learning program delivery skills
Establish a clear understanding of the end users learning needs, pain points, and expectations
Facilitate in person, virtual and blended learning programs
Identify the best learning modality and technology to delivery impactful learning experiences
Identify appropriate learning vendors to assist in program design and execution
Create engaging campaigns to communicate, market and reinforce learning programs
Provide organizational design support to executives, managers and teams
Continuously enhance professional learning skills by leveraging research, professional networks and associations, learning conferences, etc.
Program Manager:
Create and manage pilots to test new concepts and learn before launching full scale programs
Manage large scale global projects with multiple stakeholders
Manage multiple vendor relationships and ensure quality program delivery
Consider the global perspective when designing and executing programs
Relationship Manager and Team Player:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with employees and managers across the organization
Demonstrate strong influencing and collaboration skills
Partner and co-create with GTD&OE team, Global HR colleagues, business partners and employees
Openly communicate with team members and business partners regarding successes and challenges
Proactively help other team members achieve their goals
Knowledge and Experience:
10+ years of talent development/OD/ HR experience with increasing responsibilities and expanding scope, ideally gained in a global company
Demonstrated success in inventing, testing and implementing next practice talent solutions
Demonstrated experience in designing global learning programs and experiences
Demonstrated success as a facilitator in a training and development program
Some experience working the business outside of HR also preferred
Adept in coaching and development discussions
Proficient in creating learning needs assessment and strategic learning plans
Proficient in developing meaningful learning metrics and management reports
Ability in creating and marketing programs and campaigns
Strong project management skills
Experience managing multiple global vendor relationships
Ability to organize, coordinate and execute projects on time and with quality
Strong attention to detail and flawless execution skills needed
Strong influencing skills, able to get things done without authority and to negotiate effectively
Strong relationship and collaboration skills
Potential and mobility for bigger roles in HR
