Staff Accountant at Geneva

Job Description

Classification: Accountant - Staff

Compensation: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 per year

We are seeking a Staff Accountant for a position on the South east side of Rochester, NY area. The Staff Accountant will review general ledger accounts and prepare/adjust journal entries, perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts, maintain the general ledger chart of accounts, assist with initial internal control evaluations, and post monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals.

Job Requirements

General Staff Accountants must possess attention to detail and solid communication abilities. Candidates must have a bachelors degree in accounting or finance coupled with one plus years of experience. Strong technology skills are critical, particularly experience with Microsoft Excel.
