Business Data Analyst at New York

Kforce is seeking a Business Data Analyst in the New York, New York (NY) area for one of our premier clients. Responsibilities:
Support the CIB LRI PMO testing work stream performing data analysis, synthesizing & vetting requirements, and end user support.
Work in partnership with the Corporate Liquidity team, CIB Operations and CIB Technology for data retrieval while utilizing these teams to help perform data gap and defect management and remediation. - Focusing on Equities, Swaps, Structured Notes and Fixed Income products - to execute on the project.
Responsible for providing timely and efficient results analysis, status reporting and defect analysis to the team.

Qualifications:
The candidate must be a self starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment and be able to adapt to working environmental changes and project delivery. This entails being functional and effective without a lot of management oversight.
Has intermediate to strong Microsoft Access knowledge. Should be able to perform and understand Microsoft Access queries, tables and reports.
Has intermediate to strong Microsoft Excel knowledge. Must be able to perform V-look ups and create pivot tables.
Has strong data management and analysis skills. Has worked with large amounts of data in the past.
Is comfortable presenting to and interfacing with senior management on a weekly basis to discuss project progress and defect updates.
Able to work across the different lines of businesses to create timetables on project deadlines and deliverables. Abiding by these timetables and communicating progress to the team.
Work hours must be flexible in order to meet tight deadlines.
Has a broad understanding of financial instruments, especially Equities and Fixed Income.
Experience having worked in either back office or middle office in a financial institution a plus.
At least 5 years of UAT testing environment and/or project management a plus
