Manager of Customer Application Support at Spring Valley

Kforce has a client seeking a Manager of Customer Application Support in Spring Valley, New York (NY).

This position will manage the Customer Technical Support Analyst Team providing comprehensive services to all customers for all System, Environment and Database related issues which require strong analysis and troubleshooting.

The person in this role will have excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


  • 5-10+ years total experience, including 3-5+ years managing a software/production support staff

  • Strong understanding of best practices for application technical support

  • Comfortable creating and managing an effective and efficient technical support team

  • Excellent staff management, project management, time management, communication, decision making, presentation and organization skills

  • Ability to provide information and advice on technical related issues

  • Knowledge of standard operating hardware and possible bottlenecks such as drives, memory, CPUs

  • Knowledge of standard computer management and operating software such as firewalls, anti-virus and anti-spyware

  • Ability to learn about technology changes and new technologies as they are available to help the company be even more efficient and competitive

  • Knowledge of SQL Server databases and queries, with need to completely understand the companys Scan database structure under the tutelage of a developer

  • Provide Management services for Online SQL Server

  • Excellent oral skills to interact with customers

  • Ability to deal with customers in a professional and respectful manner and to maintain a -customer is always right- philosophy

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
