Medical Office Manager /OBGYN at Brooklyn

This is a managerial role. Candidate MUST have at least (2) years direct experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The selected candidate must be aggressive in ensuring effective departmental functioning. Strong communication, time management, scheduling, team building and reporting skills. Responsible for administration functions for OB/GYN department of (9-12) employees.

Candidate will engage in full administrative oversight of all hospital procedures.  The candidate should be familiar with oversight of hospital procedures for deliveries and surgeries. Candidate will manage scheduling patients for hospital surgeries, ensure patients obtain authorization for deliveries, follow up with patients to ensure appointments are kept and will engage in other assigned duties. Candidate will also:

1. Maintain at minimum 75% Appointment Show Rate

2. Monitor and Enforce Staff Compliance with Corporation Standard Operating Procedures, Initiatives, Processes, Custom & Practice and Official Instructions

3. Demonstrate and Enforce Respect for Clients Time and Protect Clients Dignity

4. Ensure that the Department is fully Prepared and optimally staffed to Deliver Highest Quality Care and Excellent Service on Next Day Appointments via Compliance with 7 Ps

5. Monitor and Control Staff Punctuality and Attendance

6. Prepare Quarterly Analysis of Staff Performance

7. Conduct Daily Review of Staff Performance in accordance with Established Benchmarks

8. Monitor and Ensure Accuracy with Daily, Weekly and Monthly Statistical Reporting

9. Supervise and Conduct Daily Operations to ensure cost efficiency and profitability of the Department

10. Ensure Supplies, Equipment and Other necessary Resources required in the Department are Functioning and Readily Available

11. Maintain Overall Departmental Error Rate of < 2% including claims denial, demographics, Insurance, scheduling, scrubbing, etc.

12. Ensure Collection of Time of Service Payments with 98-100% Compliance

13. Maintain Current Knowledge of Medical Industry Standards and Continuing Education on Medical Practice Management

14. Train and Educate New and Established Employees; Conduct Regular Department Meetings (formal & informal) to Keep Staff Abreast of Current Changes and Information

15. Follow Safety Protocols and Ensure Safe, Clean and Compliant Work Environment

16. Ensure Service Quality (Maintain a Client Friendly Atmosphere and Foster Culture of Team Spirit
