Privately own food co that has grown from two plants to five in the last six years. The co packages specialty food items and is a major supplier to the retail market in eastern US. They have become a leader in their industry and continue to grow and expand. The position is in a smaller plant that runs three lines on two shifts, just completed a major upgrade and automated all three lines.
The position will report to the VP of Operations and supervise over all plant functions and department managers. Will be responsible for P&L and plant budgets.
The co needs a hands on manager with five or more yrs experience in the fresh food processing industry. They must have experience with food processing and packaging machines and will spent the majority of their time on the plant floor.
