BROKER RELATIONS MANAGERS

HealthCare Partners,IPA a leading MedicareField Marketing Organizatonin New York, is looking to add several Broker Relations Managers for the 5 Boroughs of NYC, Westchester, Rockland, Nassau and Suffolk counties. Our Broker Relations Managers will be responsible for achieving their territory sales growth targets by recruiting Career Agents, Brokers and General Agents to sell Medicare Advantage products from the leading carriers that we represent.

Typical Duties: Recruit and manage assigned Brokers and General Agents in your territory, educate your distribution channels on the Medicare Advantage product portfolios from the carriers that HCP is contracted with. You will also help Brokers enroll Medicare eligible prospects generated by your brokers qualified leads; service your brokers and General Agents, adhere to all CMS Marketing Guidelines, deliver sales messages through public speaking presentations and attend community / marketing events.

Qualified applicants must have experience in a sales / service position, preferably in the Medicare, Health Insurance or P&C industry. Must be able to work independently with proven results, have the ability to travel locally throughout the service area, have strong consultative selling skills, be detailed oriented, have excellent communication, public speaking and presentation skills. Should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. . Fluent English required, bi-lingual skills a plus.

Preferred Experience: Three years in a sales position, preferably in the Health Insurance Industry, having experience as a broker selling / servicing small group health insurance or working as a carrier Sales Representative, or experience as a General Agent Sales Representative. Medicare Advantage sales experience is a Plus.

Education Required: Some college required, Bachelor degree preferred.

License Required: NY State Life, Health and Accident or Brokers insurance license. License must be maintained.

Fluent in English, Bi-lingual skills a plus (Mandarin, Cantonese or Spanish)
