Michael Baker Engineering, Inc., a unit of Michael Baker Corporation is seeking a Technical Consultant to report directly to the President, New York Operations on various technical, business development, project and special assignments.

Responsibilities may include for example, QA/QC, proposal preparation, developing client strategies, project management, troubleshooting, or mentoring management and technical staff.

Candidates must have strong verbal, written, presentation and excellent client management skills. Candidates must also demonstrate prior engineering or management experience with complex/multidiscipline transportation projects with NYSDOT, NYSTA, PANY & NJ and/or TBTA. Knowledge of traditional and alternate project delivery methods is also important. Candidates must be quality and client focused and have strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equal.


• Minimum 25 years of experience with the responsibilities of this position in the area of Transportation Engineering and Management.
