SALES ASSOCIATE at Harriman

Our client, a luxury fashion company, is looking to fill multiple sales positions in their Woodbury Commons location. This position is responsible for providing a personalized client experience, building strong client relationships, meeting and exceeding sales targets.


Job Responsibilities Include:



  • Meet individual and store sales targets

  • Handle high volume and high traffic situations by ensuring clients are assisted at all times

  • Incorporate product knowledge in the sales process with the end result of maximizing sales, units sold per transaction, and the dollar value of each transaction

  • Capture all relevant customer information for entry in database

  • Promote store through email, phone, and personalized notes

  • Consistently follow up with any shipping, or other issues related to clients

  • Assist in general housekeeping and the maintenance of the store image

  • Support shipping and receiving and inventory control as requested

  • Ability to have a flexible schedule and work during the weekends and holidays


Job Qualifications:



  • 1+ year experience in a retail setting, with a focus on sales, preferably in a luxury setting.

  • Computer literate; learn and utilize various software packages.

  • Action oriented; drive for results

  • Service orientation and customer focus

  • Social perceptiveness

  • Problem-solver

  • Strong oral and written communication
