Copy Editor - Corporate Communications at New York

Trans-Asia Inc. is one of Japans leading translation companies, specializing in investor relations material and other business documents for leading Japanese and international companies. It is also publisher of The Diplomat (thediplomat.com), one of the premier current affairs publications of the Asia-Pacific.
We seek editors of English based in the United States to work from home with documents that have been translated from the original Japanese by professional translators.
The specific skills and attributes we seek are as follows:

• Substantial and demonstrable experience working as a professional editor, writer, and/or translator, ideally with a specialization in investors relations, corporate communications, or finance material;
• A strong educational background;
• An unwavering commitment to meeting deadlines;
• Outstanding computer and research skills;
• Japan experience and/or Japanese language skills are most welcome, but are not required.
