Prepares and analyzes reports regarding service, repair and system maintenance activities. Assists in defining workload requirements and matching available resources to maximize customer satisfaction.

Executes Cablevision policies and procedures and ensures that established federal, state and company technical and service standards are adhered to, while achieving all customer satisfaction and retention goals. ( Included but not limited to OSHA safety rules, regulations and applicable laws)

Actively participates in the interviewing and selection process for Field Operations. Mentors and coaches Field Operations staff, conducts on-the-job training and Performance Assessment Records (PARs) of technicians in conjunction with the AOM. Conducts monthly performance, quality and safety inspections and prepares and performs yearly performance evaluation with direct reports. Initiates corrective action as needed to maintain expected standards.

Must possess complete knowledge of all Field Operations Technician duties up to a Senior Network Technician (Grade 16) and be able to execute same, when needs of the business demand. Perform stand-by duties. Responds to the worksite after hours, when necessary.

May be assigned project(s) that develop skills to support career advancement. Responsible to keep track of direct reports time worked through the E-time system. Responsible to comply with time study submissions as required by the Business Planning department. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, 60 college credits required or military experience or technical/ trade school certification. Must be certified in the job competencies for Grades 10 through 14 or equivalent and be able to perform, explain and demonstrate all related tasks.
Associates Degree preferred; minimum of six years related technical experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
Extensive knowledge of PC software applications including DOS, Windows, Network and Internet communications. Preferred knowledge of Local number portability, Cablevisions telephone transport system and how it operates and interfaces with Network Operations Center, CableData and other related systems.
Knowledge of effective field installation & repair techniques and procedures and the demonstrated capacity to interpret coax and fiber design principles. Complete understanding of the HFC network systems including troubleshooting, repair and maintenance.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills necessary to generate effective installation, service and maintenance tactics.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and evenings. Must be able to accept assignments based on the needs of the business.
Ability to report to work and/or be available to contact in emergency situations, as business need dictates.
Ability to work standby, as required.
Must possess a valid drivers license, applicable to state law.
