Overview:The Associate Planner works closely with Buyer and Planner to develop financial plans and make recommendations regarding business and core vendor plans.Key Accountabilities:- Develop seasonal and monthly assortment and inventory plans within specified divisions.- Perform historical business review including sales, gross margin, price, markdowns, turn, etc.- Develop recommendations for Buyers based on historical analysis.- Manage businesses within divisions.- Develop size and color guidelines.- Suggest actions for markdowns, cancels, other changes to ongoing business needs.- Produce divisional financial reports- Responsible for managing part of Planners total business by department, class and/or vendor.Skills Summary:- Previous experience working in a merchant organization as an Assistant.
