Leading advertising firm is searching for a Director of Information Technology with at least 7+ years of network administration and management experience. This position will have 2 direct reports (2 systems administrators).Technical Requirements:Experience with Cisco switching, routing, and securityFamiliarity with IP Telephony is necessaryNetwork protocols and routers: Reliable Transport, IP, 100BT, TCP/IP, GigE, and fiber channel. MS Exchange 2007/2010, Server 2003/2008/2012, MS SQL Server, EMC Storage, Oracle 11.x, VMware SharePoint, familiarity with content and identity management systems, Postini/Mimecast.IT Vendor Management ExperienceExperience working with sales groupsBA/BS in Computer ScienceResponsibilities:Oversee training and management of IT staff in new technologies, business processes and implementation of best practices. Oversee the implementation of network security company-wide, anticipate future networking needs and identify proactive solutions to satisfy needs. Manage IT infrastructure and on-going maintenance contracts.Plan and implement additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure in coordination with corporate leadership.Oversee the planning and management of company-wide telephone systems, field VOIP.Single point of contact for all managed technology services providers, hardware and software vendor contracts and negotiations for new or expiring contracts when necessary.Work with SVP to develop/manage budgets.Assist with creation of IT policies and procedures including but not limited to Disaster Recovery, Internet Usage and File Retention.Hold responsibility for capacity planning and scheduling.Oversee the management of enterprise Help Desk activities and resolve escalated issues if necessary.10% travel to other offices across the U.S. plus shift flexibility.
