Lead Technical Support Representative

Provide leadership and motivation to the IT Support Staff, by establishing clear expectations and coaching employees to achieve the Centers support goals. Will be responsible for planning and managing the teams schedules and their professional and technical development, coordinate technical support projects and monitor/ maintain up-to-date IT Inventory. The position will provide technical support to end users for computer hardware and communications equipment at the 314 SMB site. Requires frequent use of computer keyboard and video terminals, hand tools, and electronic equipment.

Qualifications

Certifications in A+ certification & Network + or a Bachelors degree in Information Technology; a minimum of 2 years Technical Support experience (one of which must be as a Lead Tech); a valid NYS drivers license in good standing and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask are required. Associates degree in Computer Related field, previous leadership and project management experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
