Surveillance Investigator at Poughkeepsie

Job Purpose:
Protects assets by investigating claims; preventing losses for our client.

Duties:
*Surveillanceassignments, travel will be required within Poughkeepsie, NY, Albany, NY, and NYC.

* Evaluates documents by reviewing documents provided; highlighting items pertinent to claims.

* Verifies claimant information by conducting telephone interviews.

* Gathers records and expert information by contacting and interviewing medical providers, employers, law enforcement agencies, and medical examiners.

* Completes investigation by following up on leads; updating claim system regarding status of investigations; completing random activity checks on disability claimants by telephone.

* Protects operations by complying with legal requirements; keeping investigative information confidential.

* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
