Bookkeeper at Brooklyn

A Brooklyn based company is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with 3+ years experience. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for:

Preparing financial statements.
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll processing.
Preparing quarterly tax filings.
Performing month-end closings.
Preparing the trial balance.
Posting journal entries.
Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules.
Supervising accounting clerks and junior bookkeepers.  RequirementsThe Bookkeeper must be advanced in QuickBooks Pro, Advanced MS Excel, Intermediate Bank Reconciliations, Intermediate Payroll - In-House, and Intermediate Data Entry Numeric.
