Account Executive - Product Life Management (PLM) at New York

This role will be responsible for delivering sales for Yunique Solutions in North America, with particular emphasis on growing the PLM business. This will include establishing new customer opportunities, managing all stages of the sales process, as well as mining opportunities in existing customers and managing customer relationships.

YuniquePLMis an innovative, product lifecycle management (PLM) solution that delivers the full range of functionality needed by todays fast-paced apparel, footwear, accessories and soft goods industry retailers, brands and manufacturers. This software is fully scalable and modular. Based on the latest Microsoft .NET platform, YuniquePLM leverages the internet to provide users with the ease-of-use and global connectivity needed to collaborate seamlessly across the entire supply chain.

Responsibilities:

The PLM Account Executive will:

  • Be accountable for achieving aggressive targets for revenue, gross margin and operating profit within assigned territory.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle including the preparation of proposals, sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Develop strong customer relationships. Cultivate relationships to ensure long-term customer retention and future sales opportunities.
  • Identify high-potential prospects amongst existing and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with PLM Consultants to define customer solutions and ensure a complete solution is provided to the customer.

  • Develop budgets for sales region.

  • Provide detailed account information on both prospects and customers; manage a sales pipeline for accurate forecasting of revenue.

  • Represent the Company at relevant industry exhibitions and present new product opportunities as scheduled for release; participate in product demonstrations as required.

  • Participate in regularly scheduled sales meetings.

Job Requirements

The PLM Account Executive will have:

  • A Bachelors and a minimum of 5 years sales experience in the area of enterprise management software, such as PLM, ERP, Supply Chain Management
  • A minimum of 2 years selling into Apparel and soft goods retail sectors
  • Excellent communications skills, including presentation and written
  • A deep understanding of enterprise software sales process and strategic account management
  • The ability to communicate and establish and manage relationships with C-level executives
  • 30-50% travel required
