Accounting Assistant for Growing Retailer in Midtown! at New York

Compensation: $38,000.00 to $48,000.00 per year

A high-end retailer, located in Midtown, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their growing Finance team. Working directly with the Controller and CFO, you will be responsible for managing the inventory analysis and purchasing activities. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to; managing inventory levels, handling inventory forecasting and planning, analyzing inventory needs for up to three brands, monthly reconciliations, coordinating physical inventory and monitoring all logistical issues. In addition, you will be assisting the Controller with special projects and financial reporting. Qualified candidates will hold a four year degree, have strong knowledge of MS Excel and a minimum of two years experience in a wholesale or retail firm.
