Job Description

Description: As a Database application developer/database administrator you will provide high quality technology solutions that meets changing business needs by developing, maintaining and supporting existing database applications in a diverse and complex technology environment.
This position requires ability to work with Sybase and SQL Server databases in several ways including coding and maintaining stored procedures, SQL optimization, query plan and index analysis, and overall analysis of functional specifications. The position also requires working closely with architecture on designing and maintaining data models and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specification and technical code documentation.
The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with business and IT personnel.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, outgoing, problem solver with a positive, professional, personable approach to tasks. Candidate should be a fast learner who is organized, punctual, and performs well managing and prioritizing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years total experience in developing Database solutions with at least 3 years using Sybase or SQL Server
* Strong experience in Performance Tuning and working with the optimization of query plans
* Strong expertise in writing SQL Code across different RDBMS platforms
* Solid communication skills; ability to communicate with project/program management
