Our Corporate Headquarters is located within LVIP VII in in Bethlehem, PA. We currently have two (2) Retail locations in the Lehigh Valley and we recently opened our 12,000 square foot Retail Mega-Store in Hamburg, PA.

Job Title: Extern (post graduate) 

Reports to: Initially a Mentor then a functional Leader 

This fast paced six (6) month Extern Program for high potential individuals guides the candidate through a rotation of assignments in a variety of functional departments individually tailored to the applicant’s background, skills, and long-term potential.  These may include:

• Administration (Accounting & Human Resources)
• Customer Service
• Creative Team (Graphic Design, Photography, Illustration & Catalog)
• Information Technology / Web Development
• Marketing and Merchandising
• Retail Sales
• Call-Center Sales and Customer Service
• Supply Chain/ Distribution/Warehouse

 

Ideal for the recent college graduate, over the course of six (6) months the candidate is given the opportunity to perform at the highest level through regular weekly and month evaluations.  It also provides an opportunity for Cigars International to determine if the candidate exhibits the criteria we expect for a long-term position within our organization which complements the candidate’s experience, background, skills, abilities, strengths and educational training.  At the end of the 6-month externship program, the candidate may be selected for a full-time position within the organization.  Candidates will have opportunities to add value as individual contributors and as members of a larger team through functional and cross-functional training, contributing specifically to the effectiveness of a functional area for daily execution and on large & small projects.  Typically candidates are required to complete a final project making a significant and useful contribution to the success of the business.
