Onward is looking for a Recruitment Specialist to join or team and support the growth of our New Jersey team. The Specialist is responsible for establishing relationships with healthcare professionals and clients located throughout New York, via telephone, email, and in-person meetings. In this role you will be calling nurses in the Onward database, building relationships, and selling the jobs we have throughout the region, while providing a high level of customer service. In addition you will be contacting existing customers for new orders, and generating new orders from new clients. Successful personnel in this role field 100+ calls on a daily basis while managing client and candidate expectations to ensure the most appropriate placement of a nursing professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with Healthcare Professionals & Clients
  • Must be able to utilize social media (LinkedIn, Facebook) in order to generate leads and build relationships.
  • Ability to sell job opportunities and the option of travel to potential candidates.
  • Manage your own database of professionals to place on various assignments nation-wide.
  • Pre-screen and evaluate potential candidates and assist them with the interview process.
  • Interacting with clients to fully understand staffing needs and position descriptions/requirements.
  • Ensure that each candidate understands Onward Healthcare’s process by working with our compliance team during on-boarding and submitting weekly timecards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience in inside sales or recruiting preferred however, new grads are encouraged to apply

Characteristics:

  • Highly energetic and goal oriented personality.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including especially high degree of phone etiquette.
  • An ability to build lasting relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • A drive to increase sales through networking and relationship building, primarily via phone.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word. Basic skills required for Excel and PowerPoint.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
