Job Description

Peninsula Counseling Center has a career opportunity for a Business Manager.


Peninsula Counseling Center is at the forefront of mental health counseling on Long Island. Our services cover the range of counseling needs, including family counseling, marital counseling, children and adolescent counseling, treatment for addictions/chemical dependencies, depression, trauma recovery, bereavement and grief counseling, services for older adults and those suffering the effects of Alzheimer’s disease.


The Business Manager serves as principal liaison between PCC and PSCH, Inc for all financial and office management functions and supervises employees in general accounting and billing.
Responsibilities include;

  • Oversee Payroll / Human Resources and AP functions
  • Manage all purchasing/accounts payable functions and  cash flow activities
  • Perform all revenue-related bank and general ledger functions, including reconciliations
  • Resolve all building maintenance issues
  • Conduct analytical work for Executive Director and utilize PSCH Great Plains general ledger to analyze revenues and expenses by programs.


Job Requirements

 

Candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and minimum of five years’ experience managing office operations preferably in a social services and or healthcare environment.
Extensive experience in general ledger and billing programs.
High level of proficiency in Excel, Word and Great plains accounting software.
