· The primary purpose of this position is to review and process all work requests to include screening for conformance to policy and program requirements.
· Reviews work requests to ensure compliance with the terms of the Base Operating Services (BOS) contract and that the requirements meet current regulations, directives, and guidance and conforms with Air Force and Command goals.
· Reviews work orders in order to formulate current and long-range plans for monthly and weekly work scheduling meetings with supervisor, quality assurance and evaluation (QAE), and BOS contractor.
· Monitors work request to insure that minor construction work orders are not processed until the comptroller office has funds available.
· Processes invoices from the BOS contractor for completed work; coordinates with the QAEs to ascertain satisfactory completion of work as required.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, the specialized experience must have been at the GS-06 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service. Examples of creditable specialized experience include knowledge of civil engineering trades, concepts, principles, and techniques for application of work control, work scheduling, prioritization, computer keyboarding, report retrievals, and customer service associated with industrial and administrative plant operations; knowledge of the Base Operating Services (BOS) contract.

Federal Time-In-Grade (TIG) Requirement for General Schedule (GS) Positions: Applicants must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-06 or higher grade (or equivalent in an alternate pay system) within the Federal Civil Service to be considered for referral. The purpose of TIG restrictions is to prevent excessively rapid promotions in competitive service GS positions and to protect competitive principles.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of civil engineering trades, concepts, principles, and techniques for application of work control, work scheduling, prioritization, and customer service associated with industrial and administrative plant operations.
2. Knowledge of civil engineering base operating services contracts.
3. Skill in operating a computer and related software for work processing, spreadsheets, and the Work Information Management System (WIMS) database.
4. Ability to read and interpret general plans and specifications relating to building and mechanical facilities including blueprints and technical schematics.
5. Ability to work independently and make independent judgments of regular and recurring problems.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with technicians, engineers, and outside agency personnel including senior staff and managers.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
1. Employee may be required to work on Unit Training Assembly (UTA) on weekends when required.
