Analyst/Senior Analyst

 

Summary:

Our client, a financial services holding company with interests in annuity, life and P&C insurance entities with over 200 employees is looking to add to its corporate accounting department. This position, Analyst/Senior Analyst, will be aid in compiling consolidated accounting reports as well as financial statements while ensuring US GAAP compliance.

 

The candidate will also be involved in integration activities. Our client has recently acquired two insurance companies so there will be work involving subsidiary company process improvements as well.

 

Responsibilities:

•  U.S. GAAP reporting

•  Population of consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements.

•  Performing account reconciliations

•  Process building and documentation

•  Integration related work around acquired entities

•  Prepare quarterly account reconciliations and provide analysis for assigned accounts for executive management personnel

•  Assist reporting manager surrounding internal controls and the financial reporting process

•  Generation of journal entries and quarterly account reconciliation numerous accounts.

•  Active liaison with other internal units and parent company units

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of accounting/reporting or big 4 audit experience

• CPA, not a requirement, but preferred
