HR Coordinator at New York

Job Description

Pontoon Solutions is currently seeking a HR Coordinator to support one of our premier Financial Services Clients.
  • Employment verification letters, over payment letters, Visa letters for International travel
  • Talent Development System - address general client inquiries and manage data entry requests
  • Entries in Peoplesoft
  • Facilitate internal transfers and mobility
  • Track & coordinate all leaves of absences, including disability leaves, FMLA leaves, unpaid leaves, etc.
  • Manage the background check process (CARCO) and escalate major issues/concerns
  • Address general client inquiries regarding policies and processes, such as tuition reimbursement, vacation and general benefits
  • Participate in the development and implementation of corporate, divisional and HR policies, programs, practices, processes and communication so employees and managers clearly understand the purpose and expectation.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Peoplesoft would be a plus
  • Teamwork – a desire to be an integral part of the team
  • Resourcefulness – the desire to do whatever is necessary to help the team
  • Professionalism – ability to behave and communicate in an articulate and professional manner, ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Thorough attention to detail and excellent prioritization skills
