Field Sales Representative - Kindle (New York) at Arverne

Kindle is the best-selling product in the history of Amazon.com, and the Kindle business is one of the most innovative and fastest growing businesses at Amazon. This critical role will continue to build on that success by managing the Kindle in-store experience and running assisted selling events at retail locations in your region. The Kindle Offline Retail team is looking to hire a part-time, results-oriented Field Sales Representative to promote Kindle through retail customer interactions and in-store employees. This position will be managing in-store sales activities in the New York Suburbs region.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Increasing sales in your stores
Educating store associates and consumers on the value of Kindle devices, accessories and Amazon in general
Ensuring the Kindle in-store experience and merchandising is properly implemented across retailers within your region
Serving as the Kindle evangelist within your region
Running group training events for sales associates on how to sell Kindle devices, accessories, content, and ecosystem
Participating in assisted selling activities on weekends at select retail locations
Managing in store product transitions and retailer communications
Collecting business and market intelligence from consumers and store associates

• 1+ years of work experience in retail sales
• Flexible work hours including nights and weekends (ability to work 20 hours a week)
• Possess a valid drivers license, proof of insurance and a clean motor vehicle record
• Knowledge of traffic laws is required
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in retail sales, preferably consumer electronics or high-tech products
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related area
• Independence and flexibility
• Superior verbal and written communications skills
• Composed, poised and professional demeanor
• High attention to detail and proven ability to complete multiple activities simultaneously
• Willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done
