VP, Digital Ad Sales Research at New York
The Vice President of Digital Ad Sales Research will guide A+E Networks as it pertains to insights that support Digital Ad Sales activities. This individual will oversee Ad Sales digital research that includes, but not limited to: syndicated, proprietary, consumer insights, and ad effectiveness. In addition, s/he will manage a staff of three employees, control and influence groups budget, and partner closely with non-Digital Sales clients to ensure best practices.
-Oversee Nielsen Online and comscore products & services
-Ensure that A+E Networks are represented accurately in third party data, that A+E Networks is at the forefront of emerging digital initiatives (OCR, vCE, DPR), that our syndicated data is championed both internally and externally.
-Initiate and support digital ad effectiveness, consumer insight, and other various proprietary research.
-Blend of research projects to (1) support ad sales initiatives, and (2) larger digital team (ex/ gaming, brand/site level, mobile usability.
-Manage department expenditures/needs, as well as influence products/services that make up the digital ad sales toolbox.
-Work with finance, partner with clients and other research teams to understand available resources.
-Effectively leverage social media to increase Ad Sales.
-Work with vendors, Ad Sales, Social Marketing, to determine how to quantify social media conversation, audience participation, brand affinity, etc.
Required Experience:
-10+ years of related research experience.
-Prior staffing and budgeting management.
-Consumer Insights background.
-Ad Sales background.
-Exceptional presentation skills.
Required Education:
BA/BS Degree (Masters degree preferred).
