Engineer/Mechanic at Tarrytown

Mechanic is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mechanic will be required to perform all work that is assigned to them.
• Follow safe work practices
• Report any unsafe conditions or activities to Supervisor immediately
• Monitor all Building Management Systems
• Monitor all Energy Management Systems
• Painting will be required to all work that is assigned to them.
• Perform PM and repair of MEP equipment/systems.
• Identify and correct problems associated with mechanical systems.
• Conduct tours and rounds of Property.
• Maintain records for preventive/predictive maintenance program.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
 

• Able to read interpret and work from plans, prints and diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, maintenance and repair
• Prior experience with PC based software programs
• Prior experience with sophisticated EMS/BMS systems
• Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
