Job Classification: Direct Hire Our client, a leading Financial Software company located in NYC is seeking a Jr Release Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable firm and gain great exposure to multiple groups within the organization.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing source code and its integration with the change tracking system. This person will be working closely with application developers, quality assurance engineers, support engineers, infrastructure team members, and project managers. The candidate will help establish and implement efficient procedures to streamline the software development process. To be qualified for this role, this person must be able to create scripts for deployment in either Perl or Shell. If they dont have Shell or Perl experience, any type of scripting will be acceptable. This person must possess strong communication skills as they will be interacting with multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience.
