Mechanical HVAC Engineers at New York

Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years residential, commercial and institutional project experience. Civil Engineers please do NOT apply.

Job Qualifications:

- Engineering Degree

- Knowledge of NYC, NY State and NFPA International Building Codes and NYC-DEP.

- Strong Computer and AutoCAD Skills and knowledge of REVIT Models a Plus

- Field Experience

- PE License and or LEED Certification a Plus

- Excellent Communication and Technical Writing Skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Designing Mechanical Systems From Inception to Complete Construction Documents

- Meet with Clients to Develop Scope

- Survey of Existing Building Conditions

- Prepare Reports

- Complete all Phases of Design from Schematic through Construction Administration

- Preparation of Drawing an d Specifications

- Knowledge of NYC Filing Requirements and Procedures

- Coordination Between Architectural and Engineering Disciplines

- Provide Guidance and Support for Junior Engineers

- Participate in Inter-Departmental Project Management Meetings to Allocate Firm Resources
