Responsibilities:This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting the companys products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts.The main focus is to help Sysco customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company.
This position often requires working non-traditional hours (evening, weekends and holidays) in order to successfully meet customers needs.

Essential Duties:
- Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data.
- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets, and reports, maintaining sales records, processing credits and pick-up requests, preparing sales quotes and menu suggestions, and filing reports.
- Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitiors products, prices, and sales share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.
- Attending meetings and training as scheduled.
- Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, etc.
- Responsible for growing existing account base.
- Conducting product cuttings and product presentations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends to handle customer demands.
- Collecting accounts receivable in accordance with company policy.
- Processing orders on a laptop computer.
- Participating with others (specialsist, brokers, DSM, etc.) to grow sales.
Job Requirements
Basic Requirements:- 2 years outside sales withfood service sales experience.
- Valid Drivers License, with the ability to obtain required insurance liability limits;no DUI/DWI within last three years of multiple DUI/DWI, no more than 2 moving violations in past two years.
- Ability to work flexible hours; some weekends.
- Strong presentation, communication, and people skills.
- Must be proficient in basic email, word processing, and spreadsheet skills.
- 2-4 year degree with two full-time years recent experience in full-service restaurant or hotel restaurant management or two full-time years recent experience in results oriented outside sales.
- Restaurant Management/Chef experience.
- Previous Sysco product knowledge.
- Bilingual-English/Spanish.
