Summary of Responsibilities:
The District Sales Manager I performs a wide variety of duties to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with Chrysler dealers. The District Sales Manager I will be responsible for attaining projected performance goals by promoting ancillary programs and products to meet and exceed profitability targets.
Essential Functions:
- Partners with dealer principals to forecast and achieve performance goals.
- Promotes additional ancillary programs and/or products to increase business to meet profitability targets
- Analyzes business processes to identify improvements that streamline the Finance process
- Provides one on one training with the Finance and Insurance Manager on the Chrysler Consulting sales process.
- Achieves performance objectives set forth by Chrysler Consulting and dealer principals while managing time to complete all reporting requirements.
- Builds and cultivates relationships with dealership personnel in order to support Chrysler Capital’s growth targets.
- Provides best in class customer service with all dealer personnel
- Trains and educates all dealership personnel on new products and existing products to increase business
- Works with dealership personnel to ensure agreed upon objectives are properly executed.
Other Functions:
- Special projects as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in retail automotive
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Finance and Insurance Manager
- Excellent negotiation and written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- ·Excellent customer service skills and relationship building
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage work schedule
- Successful history facilitating training
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Flexibility to travel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
- Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.
- Travel to multiple facilities may be required.
- May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
- May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.
- May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.
- Corporate / satellite office role.
