IT Vice President at Buffalo

Job Description

Responsible for business analysis, project delivery, quality, and development teams. Oversee strategic initiatives to meet Fidelis Care goals. Build business analysis capabilities for the organization. Provide critical review and oversight of project management deliverables. Establish the overall application development direction. Promote quality standards and testing methodologies. Develop and retain high performing staff in anticipation of future needs. Maintain divisional activities within budgeted guidelines.

 

Technical/Functional Expectations:

25%   1.   Project Management: Deliver technology projects in a timely and cost effective manner.

25%   2.   Planning and Analysis:   Develop departmental business analysis capabilities to meet organizational need, including strategic planning, requirements gathering, process definition and design.

15%   3.   Software Development:   Oversees the development and/or modification of application software to meet business needs by evaluating, testing, implementing and providing support for third party software products.

15%   4.   Quality Control:   Oversees the quality control of applications and systems required to meet business.

10%   5.   Strategic Planning:   Assists in the preparation of strategic business plans by keeping abreast of emerging software technologies that meet corporate objectives.

10%   6.   Data Integrity:   Evaluates the data integrity of business systems to ensure that customers receive data in an accurate and timely manner.

  7.   Other duties as required:   Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes.

Business Experience:

1.   8 or more years experience:   Related experience at a senior level.

 

Educational and Experience Requirements:

1.  MA/MS - Masters Degree or equivalent required.

2.  8+ yrs related experience required.
