The Young Entrepreneurs Academy, a premier entrepreneurship education program that transforms middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs, is seeking a talented full-time Program Sales Specialist to join our team. Were one of the fastest growing national organizations in education and were looking for the most talented people to join our team and help us continue our national expansion.

The Program Sales Specialist will report to the CEO and will work to continue the rapid growth the company is experiencing. We expanded from 42 to 89 cities in the past 18 months and our organic and geographic growth has created the need to expand our sales team to meet the client demand we are experiencing. Our Program Sales Specialists assess new territories and help launch new Young Entrepreneurs Academy locations. We provide a highly effective program, graduate amazing and talented young entrepreneurs, and our Program Sales Specialists take pride in knowing that the quality of the Academy education is exceptional. Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated sales, marketing and communication ability
  • 5 to 7 years of experience selling educational services to discerning, highly-educated clients
  • Completed BA or BS. Master’s in Education, related field, or MBA preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment
    • Demonstrated experience managing a sales, business development, or fundraising pipeline with several hundred prospects and partners
    • Must be capable of using careful analysis of data to drive strategy and tactical decision-making
    • Comfort and enthusiasm about working in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment and with a diverse and high-energy team
    • Demonstrated organizational, planning and prioritization skills
    • Ability to work autonomously with minimal management oversight and comfort taking initiative managing time effectively and meeting goals
    • Rapport-building and relationship management skills and the ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Previous sales experience managing people and projects
    • Impeccably professional and articulate
    • Strong customer service orientation
    • Knowledge of education, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship initiatives and community-civic engagement
    • Ability to work 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
    • Small company experience a plus Responsibilities
    • Understand the needs of our clients including, Universities, Chambers of Commerce, school districts, and private schools, in order to effectively communicate the benefits of the Academy and our organization’s services in order to establish additional locations for the Academy.
    • Sign up additional licensees to bring the Academy to new locations across the country.
    • 200-400 outbound emails per day to prospective clients to generate sales calls to meet weekly and monthly goals
    • 50-70 outbound calls per day to prospective clients
    • Conduct sales presentations via telephone and SKYPE presentations
    • Manage lead records and ensure proper follow up via email and regular mail
    • Research prospective clients based on vibrancy quotient and targeted locations
    • Assist in client service
