Job Description
The role of the Client Relationship Manager is to achieve sales and profit targets through marketing plan, direct sales calls, and on site client visits. The individual will develop and maintain clients by utilizing company resources as well as relationship building. Applicants should be able to sell different services (ocean/air freight forwarding, customs brokerage, container haulage, warehouse, etc.) under the company umbrella. The Client Relationship Manager will work closely with US and Asia operations and customer service departments to achieve customer satisfaction. You will work closely with management in strategic business development in both import and export.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate has a willingness to learn, adapt, and perform in a dynamic environment. You have great communication skills, both written and oral. You display a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. You have experience in shipping, logistics, purchasing, and/or supply-chain management. 3-5 year of industry specific sales experience preferred. B.A. degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Fluency in Chinese, Japanese and/or Korean is a plus.
Responsibilities: The Client Relationship Manager will be responsible to grow Airfreight, Ocean & Customs Brokerage revenues in the greater New York markets. This position reports to the VP of Operations.
