Order Fulfillment/Logistics Coordinator at Plainview

Job Description

An accessories company in Nassau County is looking for an Order Fulfillment/Logistics Coordinator.

Qualified applicant must be organized, run the daily shipping/receiving and operational functions.  Position involves heavy computer work doing all order related functions.  Experience working for an accessories company will be an added bonus.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Receive, confirm, and process orders for all of our EDI and Non-EDI accounts.
  • Work closely with the Shipping/Warehouse Department to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner and customer shipping windows are met.
  • Manage accounts routing guide and stay up to date on new requirements regarding product related issues and shipping rules.  This will require consistent follow up.
  • Arrange pickups and deliveries with trucking and express carriers.
  • Invoice orders daily post shipments.
  • Prepare reports for the Sales team on a monthly basis and/or as needed by the Head of Sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Bachelors Degree in Business.
  • At least 3 years customer service and order processing experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
