Project Manager Supply Chain Operations at Rensselaer

Summary:
Supply Chain – Project Manager Systems and Analysis will be responsible to manage a mix of supply chain related projects that significantly impact the overall Supply Chain and provide exposure to a wide range of individuals and functions within the External Manufacturing organization. Manage data analysis that strategizes on ways to reduce cycle time and improve the value chains efficiency. The Project Manager will deliver administrative support for Inventory systems, capacity planning, OPM for the External Manufacturing Group. This position must exercise strong leadership, initiative, and planning. Must also be able to prioritize work, learn new concepts quickly and juggle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Serves as the primary Regeneron contact for commercial and Clinical Inventory management thru the Supply Chain.
•Creates a dashboard of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to develop and track metrics to measure performance and improve efficiency
•Partner effectively with Contract Manufactures, External manufacturing, Supply planning, Materials Management, and other functional areas as needed to monitor and improve key performance metrics.
•Projects will focus on delivering recommendations or analyses covering new ventures or large-scale process changes, backed by presentations and documents built using data and applied expertise.
•Develop measurement and benchmarking processes for all special programs and operations.
•Continuous improvement of systems and resource planning processes with the goal of maximizing the use of our internal and external customers. Provide management with analysis of current delivery processes and proactively make recommendations on opportunities to improve these processes.
•Oversee all analysis related to product flow and capacity planning
•Evaluate existing product flow and identify new distribution/ warehousing opportunities.
•Assist in developing distribution network strategies and processes for all commercial products
•Ensure successful and timely delivery of all project components within area of responsibility.
Experience and Required Skills:

Education and Experience:
•BS/BA in business or scientific discipline with 2+ years of related experience in a project management and supply chain operations. Will substitute relevant industry experience in lieu of educational requirement.
•Exceptional written and verbal communicator.
•Proficient in MS Access.
•MBA Preferred
