Compensation: $16.00 to $17.60 per hour

Accountemps is currently searching for a dynamic Staff Accountant for a high tech firm in Midtown, Manhattan. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for: Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries.Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts. Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts. Assisting with initial internal control evaluations. Job Requirements

2+ years experience as a Staff Accountant, proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
