Vice President of Worldwide Operations at New York

Job Description

To support the ongoing growth of our worldwide organization we are currently seeking a Vice President of Worldwide Operations to lead global services and support organization initiatives.

 

The VP Worldwide Operations provides strategic and operational leadership and planning activities for product, customer support and process improvements across our company’s worldwide operations.


The successful individual will manage the operations strategy to support multiple products that include analysis of broad and complex issues, the formulation and execution of strategies, disciplined tracking and reporting of goals, the harmonization of quality systems, and a focus on the diligent use of funds to ensure cost effective operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead worldwide customer service and support
  • Develop and implement business quality and service initiatives
  • Provide leadership in the development of an effective organization and its members
  • Responsible for meeting financial functional targets
  • Identify and solves critical operational problems; develop, implement, drive new processes and systems
  • Develop operational strategies, fiscal operating plans and budgets, departmental goals and objectives
  • Responsible to develop and implement the capital plan for the Operations group
  • Determine departmental staffing requirements as part of Operational planning/budgeting
  • Direct product line operations to achieve optimum performance, highest quality and lowest cost
  • Define information systems requirements to support process improvements and support associated implementation

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline (Master’s a plus)
  • 10+ years operations experience including leading global operations function including experience in service/consumer products industry
  • Prior experience within global environment of a company/division
  • Demonstrated leadership, management and communication skills
  • Proven team player at the executive level able to integrate into high functioning team with a willingness to be very hands-on
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning skills  
  • Strong business analysis skills combined with the ability to exercise sound judgment and the initiative to make things happen in a timely manner
