Job Description

Westchester Medical Center Advanced Physician Services P.C. (WMCAPS), a for profit multispecialty physician practice with over 200 physicians and staff , located in Valhalla , New York is seeking a Business Administrator Patient Care to join out Perioperative Department  

 

This candidate will have knowledge of Medicare and third party reimbursement principles, prior experience in managing multiple projects in a multi- discipline and multi-site environment, and demonstrated strong decision making and problem solving skills. Also, the ability to work across department and discipline lines in a positive manner to achieve facility and department goals; exposure to and understanding of advanced leadership and managerial skills; computer proficiency with MS office application, familiarity with perioperative scheduling and information systems.  Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines is important. 

Job Requirements

Education/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, Business Administration, or Health Care Administration or a related field plus two years of progressive responsibility in patient care services, ancillary services or hospital management experience. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum two (2) years’ finance related experience demonstrating hands on development of financial budgets for multi-department and or multi-site locations. Previous experience in a hospital or ASC required.
