Job Description

Consultant position responsible for supporting Technology Finance of CME Group. This team is responsible for financial management of CME Group s Infrastructure departments. These departments have an annual capital budget of $70-90M each year and have a staff of over 300 employees and consultants.

Responsibilities include:
Assist financial managers with monthly financials for aligned Technology departments
Work with technology managers to analyze and explain budget vs. actuals and build forecasts to help drive decisions
Support the annual budgeting process
Process requisitions and invoices for a subset of assigned technology departments
Support tracking of software deals
Running query reports in PeopleSoft Financials to view Purchase Orders, Receipts, Invoices and update tracking documents
Update and distribute monthly reports to support month-end close
Significant financial analysis work across a broad spectrum of technology initiatives
Work with financials managers and senior technology leaders to drive IT efficiency initiatives

2-3 years work experience in a financial role required
Advanced Excel required
Self-starter able to drive initiatives with minimal guidance
Ability to work in dynamic and changing environment
Proactive attitude
Detail orientated
Strong problem solving skills
Bachelor s degree required (accounting, finance preferred)
Proficient in PowerPoint a plus
