Essential Function:The primary role of the Vice President Sales is to lead all aspects of sales for Nice Pak Products’ Consumer Division. Position priorities are strategic planning, sales growth, customer relationship management, customer service, sales team development, and problem solving.
Scope:
The scope and role qualifications (1) Lead all selling aspects $450M consumer division (2) Lead team of 15 sales professionals (3) Develop and meet annual sales targets by customer and by category (4) Partner with all relevant functions within Nice-Pak to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to the division’s customers, as well as meet the diverse needs of our highly structured quality, pricing and exclusivity agreements. To be successful one must work closely with Senior Management of Nice Pak Products and Professional Disposables International as well as with other shared services such as production, supply chain, logistics, research and development, marketing, and finance.
Position Responsibilities:
- The right candidate will be able to demonstrate ability to lead people and get results through others, an ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span, and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Primary position responsibilities include:
- Builds annual sales plan for $450M North American Consumer Division;
- Grows our business with our core customer base both within existing and new categories;
- Oversee P&L for our customer teams and provide recommendations and plans to improve customer profitability;
- Develops team of 15 sales professionals;
- Creates superior customer relationships from the buyer to much higher levels within our key retailers;
- Guides customer business plans to actualize Nice-Pak’s potential across all potential categories within the four walls of our customers;
- In collaboration with Customer Marketing, create industry leading customer marketing plans to grow existing categories and build new ones;
- Implements sales promotional programs that optimize both top and bottom line results for Nice-Pak;
- Identifies new sources of revenue both domestically and internationally;
- Ensures communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP of Marketing and Senior Director of Customer Marketing;
- Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses;
- Manages multiple channel selling strategies;
- Oversee broker relationships;
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field
- MBA from a top business school is desirable
- Experience in consumer packaged goods company a plus,
- Background with both smaller and larger companies would be beneficial
- Computer proficiency
- Retailer and consumer focused and experienced in retail grocer, mass merchant and drug chain business.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with a multitude of functions to attain business objectives.
- Financial and budget management experience and skills.
- Ability to work well with broad range of individuals/personalities; Is a collaborative team player.
- Excellent analytical, communication, creativity and organization/planning skills.
- Understanding the legal environment, risk, competitors, and the national/regional/local market.
- Aligning performance of the sales force and extended broker network.
- Creating and managing the vision for the brands.
