Responsibilities: Provide daily direction and coaching to a group of marketing individuals who may manage multiple accounts. Manage respective group by developing organizational structure assigning of vendor accounts and ensuring adequate personnel coverage for group assignments. Responsible for coaching marketing managers the development and implementation of effective marketing plans programs and go-to-market strategies for vendor partners. Drive manage and be accountable for Ingram Micro marketing budget related to assigned vendors and category. Frequently interact with peers and VBMs and VBM leadership of the Product Management organization to understand product category opportunities and initiatives. Develop with the Category Management Team product category marketing strategies/plans/programs. Manage Associates who are Campaign Managers.
Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree required or 2 years related external experience or 1 year related Ingram Micro experience. Experience: Two to Six years related industry experience. Supervisory experience preferable. Demonstrated knowledge or similar experience outside of Ingram Micro related to the above Job Description including the following skills and abilities. Knowledge of technology products and distribution channels relative to assigned product category. Knowledge of general computer applications (Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel) as well as specific Ingram Micro systems (i.e. IMPulse). Marketing plan writing and execution skills. Ability to persuade. Ability to understand and communicate financial data. Basic selling skills. Strong writing skills. Presentation skills. Associate coaching and development skills (i.e. providing constructive feedback and setting expectations of associate). Leadership and management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to communicate with executive level associates internally and externally in an articulate and professional manner. Ability to practice discretion and understand appropriateness of communication and behavior. Problem solving skills. Ability to implement recommendations and see projects through to completion. Ability to professionally conduct meetings and discussions. Ability to work both independently and as a team member. Attention to detail. Time management skills. Organizational skills. Possible travel.
