We are currently seeking candidates for the position of IT Field Engineer. This position is responsible for supporting our customers networks. The right candidate will have knowledge of the following technologies:

 

Servers - AD, BES, RAID

Apple / MAC OSX

Citrix

Disaster Recovery - Symantec BESR, Cold Metal Restore, RTO, RPO, Fulls, Incrementals Retention Policies, Acronis

Kaseya Managed IT NOC Software

Cisco Routing, Switching, WAN, VPN, Call Manager

Unified Communications VoIP PBX CISCO, MITEL, NEC

Sonic Wall

Anti-Virus - Symantec, AVG, Malwarebytes

VMWare VCP, Vmotion

NAS / SAN - LUNS, ISCSI

Wireless Access Points

Network Tools - Network Instruments Observer, Wireshark, Solarwinds, whatsupgold, Ghost

MS Exchange - Mounting MB Stores, Conversions and Migrations

MS - Patches, Registry hacks

PC and Server Hardware

 

The position of  IT Field Engineer is a technical position wherein the person in this role supports our clients at their sites or remotetly from either our Hauppauge location or NYC NOC location. Additionally the field engineer is dispatched to our customer’s locations for problems that can’t be resolved remotely and for new IT projects and support.  This hands-on technical position best suits a technologist that has a broad training in IP Networks and has a strong diagnostic skill set. Candidates must be able to support complex IP networks as well as intricate system projects from design inception to delivery.
