Sr. Risk Analyst - Risk Reporting/Analytics at New York

Job Description

Prepare materials for external disclosure of AIGs risk management practice, including SEC and Rating Agency requirements; act as the single point of contact for ERM for all related correspondence and procedure management
Support the production of all AIG management risk reporting, including reporting of risk metrics in credit, market, insurance risks at the AIG group level for senior executives and Board Committees
Build strong relationships across the firm, particularly with risk reporting teams in the investment and insurance subsidiaries, IT partners and finance teams
Identify workflow issues encountered in firm wide risk environments, both on collection and distribution/analysis; contribute to the continuous operational enhancements
Leverage broad knowledge in finance, investment and insurance to be able to react to a fast growing business and regulatory environment

Bachelors degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business, finance, economics, or other quantitative field; Masters preferred
3-5 years of hands-on analytic experience in finance, investment and/or insurance disciplines ; management and/or regulatory reporting experience a plus
Extremely high attention to details
Superb verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated track record working in a versatile, team based environment
Highly organized self-starter who can own deliverables with limited supervision
