Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
-Maintain and operate liquid bulk, specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment
-Perform intermediate gas/chemical troubleshooting/repair of delivery equipment
-Perform daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas/chemical systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring operations, completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change outs
-Verify daily rounds are recorded; determine, ensure corrective action to be taken in event of abnormal parameters
-Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site; perform bulk gas/chemical trailer transfers
-Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: quality incident reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory, material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, personnel requirements
-Assist in identification and resolution of gas/chemical related semiconductor-manufacturing problems
-Coordinate/oversee shift technician activities
-Emergency Response Team member/leader
-Satisfactorily complete TGCM Tech Level IV local OJT minimum requirements within 12 months in job grade
-Issue hazardous work permits
-Act as primary customer shift interface
-Restart all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipment
-Train TGCM Tech Level I, II, III, & IV employees
-Develop and maintain applicable site-specific work instructions
-Comply with all applicable HS&E standards including, but not limited to: PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Confined Space Entry, etc
-Complete assigned tasks as per existing procedure
-Performs minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures
-Accountable for safety of all persons, general public surrounding the facility
-Hazardous Waste Technician; responsible for proper transfer of materials to dock hazardous waste storage area; proper maintenance of dock hazardous storage area; use of appropriate documentation, equipment, procedures for ensuring proper management of hazardous waste; proper labeling of hazardous waste; following proper procedures for handling spills/emergencies, pour-up of materials, segregation of compatible materials, preparation for waste/containers for shipment, operation of a forklift, supporting waste minimization programs/activities, maintaining an understanding of applicable hazardous waste laws
Job Requirements
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Associates degree in a technical field, or equivalent, is preferred
-Previous experience in the semiconductor field is preferred
-Good communication skills; ability to follow/give both written/verbal instructions
-Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment; act as a mentor to all junior technicians
-Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory, material usage, monitoring, safety parameters, personnel requirements
-Demonstrate ability to coordinate and supervise a group of technicians on a project
-Electo-mechanical aptitude
-Display aptitude for controlling an emergency situation; coordinating problem solving actions
-Able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules
-Demonstrate ability to train junior technicians
-Moderate to heavy lifting may be required
